| International Art Colony “Dren 2008” Begins Visual Arts : (Vest, 01.07.2010) - International art colony “Dren 2008” is held for the third time in monastery complex “St.Ilija” as of Thursday.
The colony, organized by center of culture “Marko Cepenkov” from Prilep, brings together 13 artists.
Inspired by the natural beauties and the wonderful surrounding of the monastery complex in village Dren, artists from Macedonia, Bulgaria and Poland will create their artworks up to July 9.

Stamboldzioski will present 32 icons with images of famous saints.
This is Stamboldzioski’s fourth solo show in native Prilep. He has also organized shows in Bitola and Ohrid and taken part at group exhibitions.

| Photograph Exhibition of Ilija Uzunovski in KIC Visual Arts : (Vest, 23.06.2010) - In the framework of Skopje Summer, photograph exhibition “Variations and Structures” by Ilija Uzunovski will open in the Cultural-Information Center (KIC) on Wednesday evening at 20,30h.
Uzunovski, who lives in Sydney, has been working with photography for more than a decade. He graduated at the Sydney Fine Arts Academy and has exhibited in Australia, Macedonia and Russia, winning several international photography awards.

| | Exhibition “Return of the Angels” in CK Visual Arts : (www.culture.in.mk, 21.06.2010) - Exhibition titled “Return of the Angels” by Biljana Angeleska is ongoing in Skopje-based cultural center “CK”.
The display is Angeleska’s fifth solo show, including 15 artworks in combined technique.
Angeleska, who graduated at the Skopje Faculty of Fine Arts in 2008, has also taken part at a number of group exhibitions.
The display will be open until June 28.

| | Wood Carving Colony in Monastery Complex Visual Arts : (Vest, 14.06.2010) - Monastery complex “St.Joakim Osogovski” hosts the 17th international “Wood Carving Colony 2010”.
Fifteen wood carvers from Macedonia and Bulgaria take part at the traditional international campus.
The colony will last until June 19, whereas created artworks will be displayed in Skopje-based Army Hall in October, followed by a tour in cultural centers throughout Macedonia.

Visual Arts : (Vest, 26.05.2010) - The 26th solo show of Tetovo academic painter Aleksandar Nasteski titled “Eternal Symbols” will open in center of culture “Iljo Anteski-Smok” on Wednesday evening at 20,00h.
Nasteski expresses his creative imagination through the use of moss, sand and other natural materials, which are directly put on large canvasses.
The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Culture.

| City of Skopje Museum – Czech Illustrations for Children Visual Arts : (Vecer, 18.05.2010) – The Museum of the City of Skopje is traditionally addressing the youngest audiences to mark the International Day of Museums. It is opening a show, “Magic World of Czech Illustrations for Children,” that is the result of cooperation between the Museum of Ckopje, Ohrid Bank and the Embassy of the Czech Republic. The jewellery is made of leather with glass, porcelain or wood pearls applied. Arty Historian Violeta Krstic will open the show that will be accompanied by music selected by Sonja Ismail.
Sonja Dragoljub-Gizdavic is the author of three books of poetry for children and is also publicly known for her fashion shows, “Scent of the Woman” and “Scent of Nostalgia” (2000) where distinguished women in the fields of culture and public life first wore the fashion lines.
