| Book and Ceremonious Issue of Osten Magazine - Illustrated Folk Poems on Ilinden
(Vecer, 29.07.2003) - “Mum, I’d Really Like to Be Vojvoda,” is the title of a book of illustrated folk poems printed at Nova Makedonija Publishing House on the great jubilee of Macedonian statehood - 100 Years of Ilinden. The book gives a contribution to enriching numerous activities planned for the days on the upcoming holiday. The book was promoted yesterday within the promotion of Ilinden Edition at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel. The 80-page book presents illustrations of folk songs made by Miroslav Georgievski.
A ceremonious issue of Osten, a humour and satire weekly, was also published on the 100th Anniversary of Ilinden as part of the programme of the Ministry of Culture on the jubilee. A 36-page supplement to the magazine offers colour illustrations of folk poems by Georgievski, a cartoonist in Osten.
