| Bitola - Flowers Laid on Tombs of Famous Ilinden Revolutionaries
(Nova Makedonija, 31.07.2003) - Ahead of the great jubilee, representatives of Bitola Municipality led by the Mayor Zlatko Vrskovski and of the Veteran Association of Bitola laid flowers on the memorial dedicated to Ilinden at St. Sunday Church. On this solemn occasion they visited the Alley of Ilinden Revolutionaries in St Sunday Cemetery, where the bones of the famous vojvoda Aleksandar Turundzev and the last gemidzija Pavel Satev have been buried. The tombs have been renewed especially for this occasion with new marble commemorative boards.
Bitola locals think this is a good move to pay tribute to the participants in the great Ilinden epopee buried in this cemetery.
