Cherry-tree Gun Moves to Krusevo on September 8th
(Vest, 05.09.2003) - The historical cherry-tree gun, which the Military Museum in Istanbul has temporarily waived to Macedonia on the 100th Anniversary of Ilinden uprising, moves to Krusevo on the Day of Independence, September 8th and will be displayed in front of the Ilinden-Macedonium monument.
Turkey gave us the gun for a three-month period. Upon its arrival to Macedonia, the gun was displayed at the Museum of Macedonia within an exhibition, “1903-2003 Kresna, Ilinden, ASNOM, Independence.”
